Evening all, we have had a request for assistance at horse carriage driving event to be held out at Witwood (half way between Bungendore and Braidwood) on 17 April. Yes this is short notice being only 2 weeks away, but the running of the event has only just been confirmed due to reasons outside of the organisers control. We have assisted Dot and Doug with these events at their property over many years and would like to be able to help them this year.

If there are insufficient numbers of WICEN personnel to completely provide communications for the event, we will provide some of their volunteers with UHF handhelds and run the event on one of our commercial frequencies.

Notwithstanding the short notice, can I ask for expressions of interest / availability to participate - note that a free bacon and egg roll on arrival and lunch are on offer for those who wish to assist. Both Phil and I are unfortunately unavailable due other commitments, so we would also be looking for an event coordinator for this activity - minimal organisation required and support from Phil and I prior to the event will of course be provided. Offers of assistance for this role would also be most appreciated!
