Unfortunately we have received advice from the organisers of the Shannon's Safari Rally that the Rally scheduled for Saturday 7 July 2012 has been postponed due to a clash with an event being run by ACT cycling in the same area. Due to the presence of rally cars commuting between stages and large numbers of bicycle riders with associated road closures, it has been decided that the risks are too high and that the rally had to be postponed.

The rally organisers are currently investigating new dates for the event and as soon as we know when the rally is rescheduled to, we will advise everyone accordingly.

I apologies for the postponement of this event and hope that you will all be available for the rescheduled event (whenever that will be).
