Hi everyone once again,
Thanks to those who have let me know they can help,
along with those who highlighted their unavailability to assist with this
event.
We have a bit more information now and the event
consist of 4 physical stages, each run twice. They are:
SS1 / SS5 Pearces
East Start & Stop
SS2 / SS6
Tidbinbilla Start,
SOS A, SOS B & Stop
SS3 / SS7 Blue
Range Start,
SOS A & Stop
SS4 / SS8
Bluetts
Start & Stop
HQ will be at Uriarra Village Hall and will need a
minimum of 4 people, 6 would be better !
First car is due to start from Uriarra Village at
10:30 AM, though we will need to be up at running at HQ before 8:00 AM to run
the Travellers Net as people head out to meet points. Car 40 (if they get
that many entrants) is expected to start the last stage at 6:11 PM.
Stage 1/5 should finish around 4:30 PM,
Stage 2/6 should finish around 4:50
PM,
Stage 3/7 should finish around 6:00 PM,
and
Stage 4/8 should finish around 6:45
PM.
We need 3 additional people for field stations, and
at least 3 more for HQ, hence this now traditional "begging" (or is that
"nagging" ?) email
If you can assist for the event, please let us know
as soon as you can, that way we can place you on the roster to fill the
vacancies. Please also note any preferences and/or timeframe issues you
may have.
