Good morning to those participating. We have had a couple of manning changes for Sunday’s event, so please find attached the updated roster. Also attached is a spreadsheet for recording the horse numbers as they come past. Depending on the CP you are manning, you will need to print off different quantities – for example, CP1 has riders from all 5 legs plus a repeat visit from the 50km event, so CP1 will need 6 copies – please refer to the CP information document sent out on Monday for CP specific information. A spare copy or two (and backup pens/pencils) may also be a good idea.
The VK1RBH repeater appeared to have gone off air earlier this week, but thanks to the valiant efforts of Amanda VK1WX, service has been restored, so we will continue with the planned use of VK1RBH (147.175 +600 offset, NO tone). If this repeater does fail, please ensure that you are capable of using the Ginini or Isaacs repeaters (both require 91.5Hz tone access), the portable repeaters (147.125/147.150 +600 offset, NO tone) as well as simplex 2m frequencies 146.500 / 146.525 / 146.575 any of which may be used if we experience issues with VK1RBH.
See or hear you all out there!

Subject: [WICEN-Members] Support to Brookvale horse endurance ride
Good evening all.
Somewhat later than anticipated, but better late than not at all (or so they tell me).
Please find attached the roster for the Brookvale Horse endurance ride occurring this weekend. For those participating, please confirm receipt of this email and confirmation that you are still available or if not available (this roster is based on advice from up to a month ago, so potentially people may have forgotten they put their hand up for the activity).
Also attached is a course map and a document compiled by the organisers outlining information on the various checkpoints and ride order for the different legs of the event. You may notice that there are references to rides being held on the Saturday, but these are not relevant to us as we will not be assisting on the Saturday – only the Sunday. For those who have problems opening the map (it is a PDF so should be good for all) or the other attachments, please let me know and I will try and arrange an alternate format.
If there are any errors or omissions or queries, please let me know. Also, if you have put your hand up to help and cannot find your name on the roster, again please let me know – it is all too easy for me to miss an email or have incorrectly transcribed availability to my matrix rather than me ignoring you!
