Next weekend is the John Moyle Field Day, and so a number of people are involved with running the club station out at Kowen. I urge you to consider taking part - it is not a WICEN event but it is a club event and it would be nice to ring home the trophy to VK1 for the 100th aniversary of Canberra !

The following weekend (23/24 March) see's the ANU "Inward Bound" activity. This does not need operators as such, but it does need some equipment installed at Mt Ginini and at other locations.

Sunday 24th March we are looking for some people to erect the tower and antenna's at Exhibition Park for the National Folk Festival the following weekend (Easter)

Now that I have taken on the role of President of the Canberra Region Amateur Radio Club, I don't have the time to do much in the way of coordinatng the WICEN events, and I know Matt works shift and therefore does not have a lot of time to devote either and so we need somebody to step-up and assist in running the various activities and so if you can help out in those roles, please let Matt (7 myself) know of your interest. You won't be left holding the baby as Matt & I will be around, we just can't put much time into these exercises !
